As church bells give way to slow organ music, an occasional unseen female diety says the word "sacrifice" as she slowly sinks. In deep, she suddenly changes her mind. She tries to get out by hanging on a branch but is surprised by another voice saying "sacrifice", which makes her lose her grip and plops back in; finally, resigned to her end, she sinks slowly and completely under the mire as a crescendo of dieties say "Sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice yourself to the God of Mud."
