I made a thread back on Jan 1st about wanting to make a slime machine by end of march. I've gotten as far as a proof of concept model, but it needs a ton of work.
Pump: Spending 200 on a pump was kind of annoying to me, but it turns out you need something of this size to move that much fluid. This pump supposedly can handle solids in the fluid so it should be able to handle thick slime, but I've only tested it with the 'gunge' in the one test video (jello powder and water).
basically, there's a system of parts that are clamped together that are used by brewers, chemical plants, ect called "sanitary gauges". I worked with them in a lab in college so i know what they are and apparently amazon sells all this stuff now. You'll need to get flexible tubing from McMaster as well.
If anyone is trying to seriously trying to replicate anything, let me know and I'll provide more details. Just know a lot of this is WIP so i might find the pump burns out tomorrow or something.
I apologize for nothing
